‘Paterson’ Trailer: Adam Driver Is a Poetic Bus Driver

Amazon Studios and Bleecker Street will release the Jim Jarmusch film on Dec. 28.

Adam Driver is poetic bus driver in the first trailer for Paterson.

The Jim Jarmusch dramedy puts the Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Girls actor behind the wheel in the run-down eponymous New Jersey city. Coincidentally, Driver’s character shares a name with the town in which he lives.

Golshifteh Farahani, Barry Shabaka Henley, Chasten Harmon, William Jackson Harper and Masatoshi Nagase are also featured in the film — as well as the late English bulldog Nellie.

Amazon Studios and Bleecker Street will release Paterson on Dec. 28. It screens next at the New York Film Festival.
