Anthony Scaramucci’s tenure in the White House may have been (extremely) short, but he’s making moves to capitalize on the national attention and interest he received during his memorable stint as communications director.
As the smooth-talking New York financier considers his next steps, “The Mooch” is now being represented by veteran Hollywood publicist Howard Bragman, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. (The news was first reported by Politico.)
Bragman is the founder and chairman of communications agency Fifteen Minutes, and he has decades of experience representing A-listers and advocating for social causes. When asked about the report, Bragman referred THR to the statement he gave to Politico. “Not in the habit of confirming my clients or their strategies,” he had said.
Scaramucci’s future is an open question, but he doesn’t seem interested in fading out of the public consciousness. He recently did two well-received national television appearances, first on ABC’s Sunday-morning news show This Week with George Stephanopoulos and then on CBS’ The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
Scaramucci’s appearance on The Late Show set a Monday records rating, showing that he still has some juice left. He did not respond to an emailed request for comment.
