Princess Leia’s Star Wars slave bikini, which Carrie Fisher donned in character while sitting next to Jabba the Hutt in 1983’s Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi, sold at auction for $96,000.
The iconic costume, which Leia wore when chained next to the evil Hutt, opened its online auction on Profiles in History at $80,000 on Oct. 1 and sold for $16,000 above its starting price on Friday to an anonymous bidder, according to CNN Money.
Leia’s gold bikini also sold with its collar and several chain links, CNN reported. Also included in the sale was a letter of authenticity from designer Richard Miller who worked for George Lucas‘ Industrial Light and Magic.
The Star Wars series returns this winter when J.J. Abrams‘ Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters Dec. 18.
