Six months after Psy‘s Gangnam Style video set a YouTube record for attracting 2 billion views, the video has performed another remarkable feat: It broke YouTube’s view counter.
A YouTube representative posted the update on Wednesday that the K-pop sensation’s video had maxed out the site’s counter, which now needs fixing.
The video has been viewed more than 2.152 billion times, surpassing the site’s limit of counting to 2,147,483,647. (More on the math of the YouTube counter is explained in this Washington Post article.)
Mouse over the counter on Psy’s video to see YouTube’s new math in action. While you’re there, hit “play” and relive 2012.
