Get ready for more Ron Burgundy.
Will Ferrell‘s scotch-loving newscaster is returning to theaters with an R-rated version of Anchorman 2, this one featuring 763 new jokes.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues: Super Sized R Rated Version hits theaters for one week, beginning Feb. 28. Ferrell spoke about it on The Tonight Show Thursday. It’ll open against Son of God, itself an edited/recut version of The History Channel’s The Bible. The new version required resubmitting the film to the ratings board.

“When my editor told me we had a whole different version of the movie that was more than two hours long with nearly 800 new jokes, I was shocked,” said writer-director Adam McKay in a statement. “But when Paramount said they were actually going to put it in theaters, I did an 1950’s spit take. If you’re a hardcore Anchorman fan go see this. If you’re not, stay very far away.”
McKay told The New York Times, which first reported the news, the super sized version would be much longer than the original, which was 1 hour, 59 minutes.
