Things got real when the Real Husbands of Hollywood got together for The Hollywood Reporter’s reality heat list photo shoot.
The stars ragged on each other, implied series co-creator Kevin Hart was ripping them off, and revealed which parts of the show are authentic. In addition to Hart, the BET hit comedy also stars Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, J.B. Smoove, Nick Cannon and Robin Thicke as fictionalized version of themselves.

When informed the finale pulled six million viewers, Kodjoe asked if they get any extra money for its strong performance. He then deadpanned that Hart had told the men only three million viewers tuned in, implying their boss was trying to swindle them out of any extra money they might deserve.
Smoove, who plays Larry David‘s houseguest Leon on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, threatened to turn the Seinfeld co-creator against Hart.
“If I tell him [David] I don’t like you, then he won’t like you,” Smoove told Hart.
Hart suggested Smoove should get David to come on the show, to which the Curb actor looked into the camera and said “Larry, if you’re watching the show right now, this interview, Larry — “

“You don’t have his number?” interrupted Martin. “That’s how you contact Larry?” added Cannon, pointing at the camera in disbelief.
Because the series is shot like a reality series, but is improvised, it’s hard to tell what parts are authentic. So what’s real?
“The fact that I don’t like Kevin,” Cannon said. “That’s very real.”
“My abs are real,” offered Kodjoe.
