The teaser trailer for the long-awaited Red Dead Redemption 2 was released Thursday morning, and it is glorious.
Fans of the open-world, third-person Western adventure series have been clamoring for a new installment for six years.
The new teaser is short, a little more than a minute, but it shows plenty for fans to get worked up about going back into the Old West setting.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be in stores fall 2017, according to Rockstar.
“Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland,” according to Rockstar. “The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand-new online multiplayer experience.”
The previous game in the series, Red Dead Redemption, was met with financial and critical acclaim.
