Reese Witherspoon opens up about newlywed life with CAA agent Jim Toth in the October issue of Marie Claire.
“I got lucky. I did. I got very lucky, and he’s so wonderful with the children. I’m very blessed,” Witherspoon says.
She divorced Ryan Phillippe, with whom she has two children, in 2007.
“I was hard on myself when I got divorced. And until I got remarried, I don’t think I realized how stressed I was. I feel so much relief. I don’t think I realized how stressed I was being a single parent. It was really, really stressful. It’s not easy on anybody,” she tells Marie Claire.
