Some of Hollywood’s strongest supporters of clean water access are going to be honored for their work.
NCIS star Pauley Perrette and Relativity will be feted by the non-profit group The Thirst Project’s Thirst Gala June 25, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
The ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where Perrette will receive the Pioneering Spirit Award. Relativity President of Production Robbie Brenner will accept the Fourth Annual Vision Award on the studio’s behalf.

Perrette is being honored for her many contributions to The Thirst Project, which include co-hosting its third annual Thirst Gala, which helped raise $188,000 to shoot PSAs. She also personally donated funds to dig several wells.
“By using her voice, leveraging her supporters, and giving generously, Pauley has positively impacted the lives of those who are in need of safe, clean drinking water,” The organization said in a statement. “Her heart, support and influence will be acknowledges and celebrated at this year’s Thirst Gala.”
Relativity has been a longtime supporter of The Thirst Project and its events. In 2011, the company went without employee holiday gifts in order to fund a freshwater well in Uganda.
“Robbie continues to push her company to take up the call to meet the needs of those who are suffering most in the world, and reach out into the entertainment community to spread the message of the organization,” the Thirst Project said in a statement.
The Thirst Project, founded by 23-year-old CEO Seth Maxwell, seeks to improve access to clean water for the 1.1 billion people who do not have it. Visit the organization’s website for more information.
