Renee Zellweger Goes Digital First 'Bridget Jones's Baby' Photo — Universal Pictures

Renee Zellweger is back as Bridget Jones, and this time she’s ditching her diary for an upgrade.

Working Title Films released the first look at Zellweger reprising her role in Bridget Jones’s Baby, the third installment of the franchise after Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason released in 2004. The photo included the caption: “Bridget is back! Here’s a first look at Renée Zellweger as Bridget Jones in BRIDGET JONES’S BABY.”

Zellweger is hugging an iPad in the photo, suggesting that Jones has traded in her diary to go digital. Patrick Dempsey and Colin Firth are also set to return to the third installment of the franchise, which will be produced by Working Title Films and co-financed by Universal Pictures, Miramax and StudioCanal.
