With Halloween only a couple weeks away, Paranormal Actvitiy 4 is aiming to offer up some scares to moviegoers this weekend.
Directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, the fourth installment of the horror franchise follows Katie (Katie Featherston), missing for five years. After her disappearance, a family begins witnessing strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in. The movie also stars Kathryn Newton and Matt Shively.
Meanwhile, Tyler Perry, Matthew Fox and Rachel Nichols star in Alex Cross, directed by Rob Cohen. The action-mystery film follows an investigator who is to pushed his moral and physical limits as he deals with a sadistic serial killer.
