Ricky Gervais claims he discovered Louis C.K. but has never received a thank you from the comedian.
“I discovered that big, sweaty slob,” Gervais told Seth Meyers. “He’s never thanked me, and now he’s trying to take my award.”
The pair will square off at the Emmys in the best actor in comedy series category, where C.K. is nominated for FX’s Louie and Gervais has Netflix’s Derek.
Earlier on NBC, Jimmy Fallon had Audra McDonald to once again sing Yahoo! answers. It certainly sounds smarter when coming from a Tony winner.
