Rihanna hardly gave fans a chance to move on from “Cheers (I’ll Drink to That)” before unleashing a brand new, never-before-heard single.

After teasing the forthcoming track with a flurry of tweets on Wednesday, Sept. 21, the pop songstress released “We Found Love” Thursday morning via Facebook and the radio. The Calvin Harris-produced tune features up-tempo party beats paired with the singer’s sultry vocals.
“We found love in a hopeless place” she croons four times over throughout the infectious chorus. Listen below.
Ri-Ri rocks a frilly pompadour in the track’s black and white cover art, donning loose-fitting jeans and a denim jacket as she struts down a city sidewalk.
The Rihanna navy, as she affectionately calls fans, responded in kind, landing “We Found Love” among the top worldwide trending topics on Twitter.

“Just wanna say “U R SICK” BAD ASS Don’t know what happened but just listened 2 ur new single. Dang Girl! Aint no stopin u [sic],” wrote one fan.
“You win girl, didnt think you could top the songs of loud, but u just did! im done, you ALWAYS seem to amaze me,” said another.
The track quickly began climbing the iTunes chart, resting at No. 11 as of Thursday afternoon. With rapidly rising downloads, it isn’t likely to rest for much longer before securing the top spot. The singer confirmed earier this month that her still-untitled sixth studio album will be released this fall.
