Rihanna surprised the crowd during weekend two of Desert Trip, joining Paul McCartney onstage to perform “FourFiveSeconds,” a single they released last year with Kanye West. The “queen of Barbados,” as McCartney introduced her, was arguably the festival’s best-dressed.
RiRi commanded the stage in a pinstripe power suit, sans shirt, from the Jacquemus spring 2017 collection that was presented during October’s Paris Fashion Week. The oversized number (a popular silhouette on recent runways) with its exaggerated sleeves and wide-legged pants was balanced with a cinched waist that was held together by a single button.
Jacquemus, founded by Simon Porte Jacquemus in 2009, is known for its architectural and sculptural designs, and counts Alexa Chung as one of its famous fans.

Unlike the runway model, Rihanna opted to forgo the straw hat and instead paired her outfit with skinny sunglasses with a rosy tint (similar to the ones seen on Selena Gomez). The “Needed Me” singer is just the latest celebrity to rock a straight-off-the-runway look.
Rihanna has been on a pinstripe kick lately, too. Styled by Mel Ottenberg, the performer donned the textile at the Global Citizen Festival in New York and wore a broad-shouldered suit jacket by New York-based brand Snow Xue Gao.
Leave it to RiRi to get a trend going.
