Another day, another risqué moment for Rihanna: The singer’s latest ad for her Rogue fragrance has been deemed too “sexually suggestive” by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), a U.K.-based watchdog group that describes its organization as “U.K.’s independent regulator of advertising across all media.”
In true Rihanna fashion, the singer is seen posing nearly naked — wearing only a pair of heels — in the perfume campaign. According to the ASA, the sexualized poster is considered too “inappropriate for children to see.”

However, Parlux Fragrances, the manufacturer and distributor behind Rogue perfume, tells Daily Mail it hasn’t received any complaints and claims the fashion icon is actually “depicted as being in a position of power.” Yet the ASA argues that “Rihanna’s pose, with her legs raised in the air, was provocative.”
Given the fact that RiRi stepped out in a see-through dress designed by Adam Selman at Monday night’s CFDA Awards, we’re pretty sure she’s all good with the campaign.
