Rita Ora, who has worked with such brands as Adidas, is joining the BBC’s U.K. version of singing competition The Voice as the fourth coach on the upcoming fourth season.
Kylie Minogue had filled that spot but was widely expected not to continue on the show. She quit this spring.
Ora will join coaches Tom Jones, will.i.am and Ricky Wilson of the Kaiser Chiefs. The coaches will all head to Salford in Manchester for the blind auditions next month, with the new season coming to BBC One in January.

“In less than two years, Rita Ora has shot to international stardom with four number one singles in the U.K. and a multimillion-selling debut album,” the show producers said in a statement. “Her movie career also kicks off in 2015, with a featured role in the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey.”
Said Ora: “So excited to be part of, and for my team to win, The Voice this series! Let’s have some fun, will.i.am, Tom and Ricky! I’m really looking forward to the blind auditions — and spinning in my big red chair. EXCITED!!!!”
Said will.i.am: “Rita is sweet, spicy and sassy.”

Charlotte Moore, controller of BBC One, which earlier this year renewed the show for two more seasons, said: “Rita Ora has a unique sense of style and her no-nonsense attitude will really mix things up on the spinning chairs alongside will.i.am, Sir Tom and Ricky. 2015 promises to be a good one.”
