The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2012 nominees.
The Beastie Boys, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Donna Summer made the cut. Read the full list at the bottom of this story.
To qualify, the act must have released its first single or album 25 years ago.
More than 500 voters will decide who land a place in the Cleveland exhibit. They’ll be inducted on April 14.
