Keystone/Getty ImagesThe Rolling Stones are celebrating its 50th anniversary by releasing a new photo book.
The veteran rock band’s 352-page The Rolling Stones: 50, by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood, will hit stores on July 12, Reuters reports, the same date in 1962 when the group first took the stage in London’s Marquee Club.
Published by U.K.’s Thames & Hudson, the book continues The Rolling Stones’ 50-year celebration and will contain 700 illustrations, photographs and text by the band members.
“This is our story of 50 fantastic years,” Jagger, Richards, Wood and Watts said in a statement. “We started out as a blues band playing the clubs and more recently we’ve filled the largest stadiums in the world with the kind of show that none of us could have imagined all those years ago.”
“Curated by us, it features the very best photographs and ephemera from and beyond our archives,” the statement continues.
Richards released his own memoir in 2010, Life.
The Rolling Stones have released dozens of studio albums since 1962 and have sold more than 200 million albums.
