Composers Elliot Goldenthal, Howard Shore and Hans Zimmer will be guests at the closing ceremony of the 38th Ghent Film Festival at the Kuipke in Ghent on Oct. 22.
Following the presentation of the World Soundtrack Awards, the Brussels Philharmonic, conducted by Dirk Brosse, will perform selections from the three composers’ work in a concert dedicated to the late Ronni Chasen.
Chasen, the Hollywood publicist who was murdered in November in Beverly Hills, was a long-time supporter of the festival.
All three composers were also long-time friends and clients of Chasen.
The Ghent festival runs from Oct. 11-22.
