Roseanne Barr has signed with Gersh for U.S. representation in all areas, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.
The comedian’s stand-up act inspired her groundbreaking sitcom Roseanne, which earned its star and creator a slew of accolades, including Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe, Kids’ Choice and American Comedy Award wins. Over nine seasons the comedy averaged approximately 30 million viewers and was the top-rated show in its sophomore season.
Barr later earned a Daytime Emmy nomination for hosting her talker The Roseanne Show, and starred in the Lifetime reality series Roseanne’s Nuts, about her family’s operation of a macadamia nut farm in Hawaii. Barr, whose other television appearances have included The Office, Portlandia and The Millers, can currently be seen alongside Keenen Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters as a judge on NBC’s Last Comic Standing.

In 2012 Barr ran for president of the United States as the nominee from the Peace and Freedom Party, finishing sixth in the nationwide popular vote. Filmmaker Eric Weinrib, a longtime collaborator of Michael Moore’s, documented her campaign and plans to release Roseanne for President! later this year.

Barr has penned three memoirs: 1989’s Roseanne: My Life as a Woman, 1994’s My Lives and 2011’s Roseannearchy: Dispatches form the Nut Farm.
Barr continues to be repped through her banner Full Moon & High Tide.
