Rupert Murdoch has made some more potentially incendiary comments on Twitter.
The 21st Century Fox executive chairman took to Twitter on Wednesday to compare GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson to current president Barack Obama.

“Ben and Candy Carson terrific,” Murdoch wrote about the candidate and his wife. “What about a real black President who can properly address the racial divide? And much else.”
This is not the first time that Murdoch has praised Carson on Twitter. Murdoch has also previously been critical of Donald Trump, with the real estate mogul feuding with Fox News of late.
The next morning, he apologized for his comments. “Apologies! No offence meant. Personally find both men charming,” he tweeted, referencing both Carson and president Obama.
Murdoch has posted controversial tweets in the past. Earlier this year, J.K. Rowling took umbrage with his tweet about Muslims following the Charlie Hebdo attacks.
