John Shearer/GettyRuth Negga stepped out for the Independent Spirit Awards in a Delpozo dress, fresh off the fall 2017 runway.
The Loving actress, nominated for best female lead at the Spirit Awards, chose an off-the-shoulder gown with a floral brocade full skirt. Unlike the model on the catwalk, Negga opted out of the skintight headcover and black sheer turtleneck that was paired with the gown. Styled by Karla Welch, the playful look was accessorized with Manolo Blahnik heels, Fred Leighton jewels and a bright pink Roger Vivier clutch.
“I’m a big fan of [Delpozo creative director] Josep Font, who has an independent spirit,” Welch told The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s more of an indie brand and what a perfect place to wear it.”
