In case you were wondering (and even if you weren’t), Ryan Phillippe wants to set the record straight: No, the Shooter star is not dating Katy Perry, despite what some tabloids would like you to believe.
The actor took to Twitter to relay his all-caps message to the nosy press — particularly, whichever outlet sent helicopters flying over his home in search of Perry.
“I AM NOT DATING KATY PERRY,” he scream-typed at the Twitterverse. “BARELY KNOW HER. PLEASE STOP FLYING HELICOPTERS OVER MY HOUSE. SHE IS NOT HERE.”

Phillippe was most recently linked to 25-year-old law student Paulina Slagter, whom he dated for five years and was engaged to for 10 months before the engagement was called off at the end of 2016. He was married to Reese Witherspoon from 1999 to 2007.
Perry’s love life, too, has been in the spotlight in recent months following her public split from Orlando Bloom, whom she dated for almost a year before calling it quits in March.
Another of Perry’s former flames, John Mayer, created waves earlier this year when he released his latest single, “Still Feel Like Your Man,” which is reportedly about his relationship with the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer.
