Boyhood keeps racking up the wins from critics groups.
The San Francisco Film Critics Circle chose it as the best film of 2014. Boyhood was also honored for best director (Richard Linklater), supporting actress (Patricia Arquette) and editing (Sandra Adair).
Birdman fared well, too, picking up honors for best actor (Michael Keaton), supporting actor (Edward Norton) and original screenplay.

Julianne Moore (Still Alice) was named best actress, Ida won for best foreign-language picture and Citizenfour took the crown as best documentary.
Boyhood continues building momentum heading as Oscar season heats up in earnest. The film has been named the best picture of the year by the L.A. Film Critics Association, New York Film Critics Circle and New York Film Critics Online, among other groups.
