Sarah Palin Defends Donald Trump, Curt Schilling, Criticizes ESPN, “Lamestream Media”

Sarah Palin was very vocal about the complaints she has with the media this week. On Facebook, Palin defended both Donald Trump and Curt Schilling.

Trump recently was asked about his favorite verse in the Bible, which he has said is his favorite book. He declined to share his favorite verse, when a Bloomberg interviewer asked him about it, saying, “I wouldn’t want to get into it. Because to me, that’s very personal.” He added, “The Bible means a lot to me, but I don’t want to get into specifics.”

Palin was upset at the interviewer for asking Trump about his religious beliefs. She said “[What the hell] lamestream media! Stay out of my Bible.” She added, “Lamestream media asks GOP personal, spiritual ‘gotchas’ that they’d NEVER ask Hillary [Clinton], or they’d feed the question to her and/or liberal cohorts before they asked it on-air (we know how these things work, lapdog media… the public’s on to you).”

She commended Trump for “screwing with the reporter” and said she wouldn’t have wanted to answer that question either. “I’ll cover this in my interview with Donald Trump and other candidates tonight on the One America News Network show ‘On Point,’ ” said Palin. “The more the media does this, the more they empower America to reject them and their bias as voters run to the anti-status quo candidates daring to Go Rogue.”

Palin also took to Facebook to rip ESPN for removing Schilling from its coverage of the Little League World Series after he tweeted a meme comparing Muslims to Nazis.

She called the network a “journalist embarrassment.”

“ESPN – what happened to you?” she said. “Your intolerant PC police are running amok and making a joke out of you!”

Palin said Schilling’s stats comparing Muslims to Nazis were “too generous.” She said, “The difference between Hitler’s army and the genocidal maniacs of ISIS is that the jihadists don’t have as much power…yet”

She added, “By denying the accuracy of Schilling’s tweet, ESPN shows its weakness as it buys into the propaganda of ISIS and other terror organizations, helping mislead the public about the very real threat of terrorism.” She ended that post by telling ESPN to “stick to sports.”

When removing Schilling, ESPN released a statement, saying. “Curt’s tweet was completely unacceptable, and in no way represents our company’s perspective. We made that point very strongly to Curt and have removed him from his current Little League assignment pending further consideration.”
