Sarah Silverman has left CAA for UTA, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.
The actress and comedian currently has an untitled comedy pilot in the works at HBO, in which she plays a bluntly honest video game designer suffering a modern midlife crisis. She also recently played against type in the domestic drama I Smile Back, which premiered at Sundance in January and was acquired by Broad Green Pictures in March.
A considerable number of agents and clients have migrated from CAA to UTA since March 31, when CAA agents Nick Nuciforo, Jason Heyman, Martin Lesak, Greg Cavic and Gregory McKnight abruptly left the agency to join UTA as partners. The tally now stands at 12 agents and a couple hundred clients, with Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis among the confirmed big names.
Silverman continues to be repped by Thruline and Ziffren Brittenham.
