ScreenCraft has announced the recipients of the 3rd Annual ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship.
This year’s fellows are Dante Russo, for his half-hour pilot Haters; Nancy Duff, for her hour pilot Dead Drop; and Heidi R. Willis, for her feature Black Sunday.
The fellowship, presented by Final Draft, is meant to advance the careers of the winning amateur screenwriters through mentorship.
Mentors include Academy Award winners Precious writer Geoffrey Fletcher, Brokeback Mountain scribe Diana Ossana and Crash writer Robert Moresco, as well as super-producer Lawrence Grey and 3 Arts Entertainment literary manager Ari Lubet.
Fellows will also receive Final Draft screenwriting software and a $1,000 writing grant.
Past ScreenCraft Fellowship-winning screenwriters have gone on to sign 3 Arts, Anonymous and ICM, among others.
