Seth Meyers, Late Night host and former SNL writer, recently took issue with President Trump’s statement, “I’m president and you’re not.”
“I didn’t mind when you talked dirty with Billy Bush or told Russia to hack Hillary’s emails,” said Meyers, “but when you start stealing bits from ‘Weekend Update’ anchors, it is on!'”
The “Weekend Update” bit he’s referring to is Chevy Chase’s old signoff, “I’m Chevy Chase, and you’re not,” from the ’70s.

Meyers was with Saturday Night Live for over a decade, including a stint hosting “Weekend Update,” and joked that Trump is “stealing bits” from the popular faux news segment.
“Also, I happen to know this isn’t the first time you’ve done this,” Meyers said, referencing Norm Macdonald’s old greeting, “and now, the fake news.”
Meyers concluded, quoting Dan Aykroyd: “You know, I hate to say this, but ‘Donald, you ignorant slut.'”
