In recent days, an apparent tiff between longtime partners Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne sparked a flurry of rumors regarding their relationship. On Tuesday, Sharon used her co-hosting spot on CBS’ The Talk to clear the air on all the chatter.
Regarding allegations Ozzy had cheated on her, Sharon only confirmed she had kicked him out of their house. But right now? “He’s back and I’m out of the house,” Sharon announced. Furthermore, she said that she is on speaking terms with Ozzy, but has not yet decided her next move. “I don’t know where I’m going, who I’m going with,” she admitted (via Us Weekly). “And I just need time to think. And really think about myself, about what do I really want … Because I’m 63 years of age and I can’t keep living like this.”
It’s worth noting that while her co-panelists hit the set with coffee mugs, Sharon came out with a glass of lemonade. A reference to Beyoncé’s hold-strong-against-cheaters opus, perhaps? Kelly Osbourne posted this to Instagram with the caption “Guess who’s turning [lemons] into #lemonade?” so it’s safe to say it most definitely is:
Tuesday marked Sharon’s return to her usual post on The Talk following a day of absence. On Monday, co-host Julie Chen explained, “Sharon is not here today. There were many tabloid headlines of her and Ozzy, rumors and speculations that they have split up after nearly 34 years of marriage. Sharon understandably took today off and we are sending all of our love to her and to her family. And we ask that you do the same.”
Previously, Ozzy Osbourne released a statement saying the disagreement with Sharon had nothing to do with a drug relapse, saying “I have been sober for three and a quarter years.” He still plans to honor a public appearance May 12, where he’s promised a “very special announcement” alongside Slipknot’s Corey Taylor.
