At age 57, Sharon Stone is all about embracing her aging appearance. So much so that she’s baring it all for a new editorial spread in Harper’s Bazaar‘s September 2015 issue.
While this isn’t Stone’s first nude photo shoot (she posed for Playboy in 1990, which skyrocketed her career and landed her the role in Basic Instinct), she found herself more comfortable posing for Harper’s now than she did for Playboy.

“I’m aware that my ass looks like a bag of flapjacks,” she said jokingly to the glossy. “But I’m not trying to be the best-looking broad in the world. At a certain point you start asking yourself, ‘What really is sexy?’ […] If I believed that sexy was trying to be who I was when I did Basic Instinct, then we’d all be having a hard day today.”
Last December, Stone also spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about accepting the aging process with grace.
“I actually find aging a benefit. I don’t choose to make growing older a negative. I choose to get older. Growing older is my goal,” she told THR, adding that her brain hemorrhage in 2001 really put life into perspective for her.

She added: “The key to looking good as you get older is, it all comes from the inside. You have to do what you like to do. If you hate to go to the gym, don’t put yourself on a gym regimen. Do what you like to do, but do it every day. I love to dance, and I dance hard. When I started thinking about aging, I thought, ‘Who do I want to look like as I age?’ And the answer was dancers.”
Because if that’s what it means to be 57, we’ll have whatever she’s having. You keep doing you, Sharon.
