Shaun White has signed with UTA in all areas, The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard have exclusively learned. He previously was with CAA.
The world’s most famous snowboarder has two Olympic gold medals, from 2006 and 2010, and 18 medals from the Winter X Games to go with five additional medals for skateboarding at the Summer X Games. He will compete in his fourth Olympics at the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.
UTA had already been working with White on the traveling action sports and music festival Air + Style, of which White became a majority owner in 2015. The agency will continue to help grow the tour, held annually in Beijing, Austrian city Innsbruck and Los Angeles. The festival hopes to become an Olympic qualifying event because it features the high-flying big air snowboarding, which will debut as an official medal event in PyeongChang.
