In June, LaBeouf was escorted from Broadway's Studio 54 theater and arrested after acting disorderly and yelling obscenities during a production of Cabaret, starring Michelle Williams and Alan Cumming. "He has been detained. He is expected to be charged but nothing has been filed yet," an NYPD spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter.

Arraignment, Release from Police Custody: A disheveled-looking LaBeouf spent the night in police custody before he was arraigned Friday morning in Manhattan Community Court, where he was officially charged with 5 misdemeanor counts of trespassing, disorderly conduct and harassment. Bail was set at $2,500, but the actor, wearing a ripped blue t-shirt, was released on his own recognizance. His next court date is July 24.
More Details Emerge in Criminal Complaint: According to the criminal complaint, obtained by THR Friday morning, a security guard at Studio 54 saw LaBeouf stand up in the middle of theatrical performance and yell at the actors onstage, with many people in the audience of more than 100 people turning to look at LaBeouf as he disturbed the production. The security guard then asked LaBeouf to leave the theater but he refused to go. As LaBeouf was escorted out of Studio 54, he screamed at the arresting police officer, “F— you. This is f—ing bullshit. Do you know my life? Do you know who the f— I am? Do you know who I am?” During arrest processing, LaBeouf spat at the cop’s feet, according to the arresting officer.

Theatergoers Share Stories: Two theatergoers spoke to the Associated Press about LaBeouf’s antics, saying he was “quite a mess” and fed a strawberry to a woman at the bar. Another audience member, Katie Glantz, who tweeted about seeing the show Thursday night, told THR what she observed. Glantz was sitting in the mezzanine, so she says she “didn’t really see anything, I just heard shouting and bottles being thrown!” As for how the actors dealt with LaBeouf’s behavior, Glantz says they didn’t seem annoyed. “They remained in character and were pretty professional,” she says. Other witnesses told TMZ and the New York Post that LaBeouf slapped star Alan Cumming on the rear end as he walked through the audience, smoked and appeared extremely drunk.
