‘SNL’ Clip of Jeff Bridges Dueting With Cookie Monster Becomes Viral Video Hit

Taking a cue from Betty White fans, Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster turned to Facebook last month to launch a campaign to host Saturday Night Live. That dream was realized, for the most part, when the iconic blue character made a surprise guest spot opposite Tron: Legacy star Jeff Bridges on the Dec. 18 episode.

The duo helped close out the year with a fun rendition of “Silver Bells,” which included the famous blue cookie critter giving Santa a pitch for an iPad — for the digital “cookies,” naturally.
