Toss the pepper spray, gals. The newest (and most fashionable form) of, uh, weaponry is a pair of towering stilettos. Just ask Solange Knowles, who appears to have delivered some swift (though stylish) kicks to Jay Z in what has now become the security footage seen around the world. During the footage in question, Knowles is seen physically attacking her brother-in-law inside an elevator after the Met Gala afterparty, while Beyonce looks on.

The heels depicted in the grainy black-and-white footage are the same ones Knowles rocked on the Met Gala red carpet earlier in the evening: a pair of Stuart Weitzman, Oro Foil Nudist Sandals ($398), paired with a peachy Philip Lim dress. Knowles was spotted in the same strappy heels later in the evening at the Met Gala afterparty, held at the Boom Boom Room in Manhattan’s Standard Hotel — where the now-infamous elevator altercation appears to have occurred.
Stuart Weitzman describes the shoe online as a “red-carpet-worthy high heel sandal [with] an adjustable ankle strap attached to the quarter to provide stability and ease with walking” — and now, as demonstrated by Knowles, fashion’s latest secret weapon.

Despite being restrained by a security person, Knowles released her wrath on the music mogul, who is caught on tape trying to dodge her sparkly four-and-a-half-inch heels multiple times, without much success.
