Lionsgate has signed a multiyear deal with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment that will see Sony handle the distribution of box sets of Lionsgate’s TV series.
The deal covers both current shows, such as Nashville and Orange Is the New Black, and library titles including Mad Men and Nurse Jackie.
The deal, announced Wednesday, will see Sony handle physical packaged media distribution for Lionsgate TV shows worldwide outside of North America and the U.K.
Lionsgate will continue to handle digital distribution of its own titles worldwide.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
