Road trip rom-com Lost & Found is getting ready to start its engine at Sony.
The studio is partnering with Will Gluck’s Olive Bridge Entertainment for the feature from writer Meredith Dawson.
Olive Bridge, which is headed by Gluck and partner Jodi Hildebrand, has a first-look deal with Sony, where the filmmaker on the Peter Rabbit films, with the sequel, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, due out in theaters on January 15, 2021. (The movie was initially slated for an April 3 release but had to be pushed amidst to the nationwide theatrical shutdown due to COVID.)
Also on Olive Bridge’s Sony slate is a sci-fi romance spec Move On from Ken Kobayashi and Much Ado, a modern retelling of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, among other in-development projects. The banner’s most recent release is on the television side, with the comedy series Woke on Hulu.
Dawson, repped by Kaplan/Perrone and Felker Toczek, is a television veteran, with credits on Hulu’s Four Weddings and A Funeral, Apple series Central Park and Netflix’s upcoming comedy series starring Jane Lynch and Cyndi Lauper. She is set to make her directorial debut on When Carrie Met Michael and Other People, which she wrote and has Paul Feig attached to produce at Universal.
