The 3D conversions of George Lucas’ Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith will be released back-to-back in fall 2013 by 20th Century Fox.
Attack of the Clones 3D will open Sept. 20, followed three weeks later by Revenge of the Sith.
Lucasfilm made the announcement Monday on the Star Wars Facebook page.
Earlier this year, Lucas and Fox released Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace in 3D to solid results. The rerelease grossed $43.5 million domestically and $59.3 million overseas for a total $102.8 million.
