AP ImagesBilly Crystal may have notched up an impressive nine appearances as an Oscars host, but over in the U.K., Stephen Fry will be going one better with the BAFTAs.
In an announcement made Thursday, it was revealed that the veteran TV personality, actor, author and all-around funnyman would be taking over MC duties at the BAFTA awards for the 10th time. The ceremony, seen as the biggest international film awards outside the U.S., will take place Feb. 8 at London’s Royal Opera House.

“Hosting the film awards has always been a highlight of my year,” Fry said in a statement.
“The opportunity to help the academy promote filmmaking and encourage cinemagoing means a lot to me. I’ve met many heroes and had the honor of introducing many young talents that are now busy forging remarkable careers for themselves. Seeing the photos from each year back, I can chart my bewildering changes in weight too…”

The ceremony itself is set to broadcast exclusively on BBC One in the U.K. and on BBC America in the U.S. The nominations for the awards will be announced on Jan. 9.
