Ron Eldard, John Getz, Lesley Ann Warren and James Woods have joined the cast of jOBS, the indie biopic starring Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs.
Director Joshua Michael Stern (Swing Vote) began shooting the film in mid-June on location in Los Angeles and Palo Alto from an original script by Matt Whiteley.

A Five Star Feature Film Production, jOBS is produced by Mark Hulme. CAA is representing domestic rights, while Inferno Entertainment is handling foreign sales (the film sold to a number of international buyers at the Cannes Film Market in May).
The film — intended for a winter 2012 release — chronicles Steve Jobs’ transformation from the enthusiasm and self-discovery of his youth to his battles with personal demons before the ultimate triumphs of his later life.
Josh Gad portrays Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, while Matthew Modine plays Apple CEO John Sculley. Other previously announced cast members include Dermot Mulroney, who plays investor and Apple’s second CEO Mike Markkula.
Eldard will play Apple designer Rod Holt, while Getz and Warren play Jobs’ adoptive parents. Woods will portray Jack Dudman, Jobs’ former dean of students at Reed College in Oregon.
