Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak will unveil plans for Tokyo Comic Con 2016 in the Japanese capital on Friday, billing it as the first American-style Comic Con event, featuring entertainment, technology, manga, cosplay and artists.

The event is scheduled for Dec. 3 to 4, 2016, at Makuhari Messe, the Tokyo Game Show venue, and follows the announcement of the Silicon Valley Comic Con in March 2016, which Wozniak is presenting with Marvel’s Stan Lee.
Tokyo Comic Con is entering a crowded marketplace. Japan already has a number of major manga, cosplay and video game-related events.
Wozniak will unveil plans for the Tokyo Comic Con Dec. 4 and will attend events through the weekend in Tokyo to promote the 2016 show.
