The bash at the Hollywood Bowl to celebrate President Bill Clinton‘s belated birthday and raise money for his charitable foundation began with a surprise performance by Stevie Wonder Saturday.
The legendary artist performed pitch-perfect renditions of “Overjoyed,” “For Once in My Life,” “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours” and “Superstition.”

Wonder was followed by country superstar Kenny Chesney, who sang hits “Beer in Mexico,” “You and Tequila Make Me Crazy” and “Everybody Wants to go to Heaven.”
Spotted in the expensive seats were Ellen DeGeneres, Ashton Kutcher, Jason Segel, Michael Eisner, Zack Galifianakis, Maria Bello, Maria Shriver, Barbra Streisand and James Brolin.

Bono sang a duet with Somalian artist K’Naan, and the U2 frontman later returned with the Edge.
Usher and a sexually provacative Lady Gaga also performed. Another sure-to-be talked about moment was a Funny or Die video shown on two giant screens featuring Sean Penn, Matt Damon, Ted Danson, Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Kevin Spacey and Bill Clinton.

Clinton was seated with daughter Chelsea and wife Hillary, who is taking time off from her duties as Secretary of State to be with her family in Southern California. Bonnie Raitt was seated with the Clintons and Jane Fonda sat behind them.
The show was streamed live by Yahoo.
An after-party took place at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
