Online content creators are being honored for their work on Monday night during the eighth annual Streamy Awards.
Comedy group The Try Guys will serve as the hosts of the show, which is taking place in Beverly Hills. The quartet consists of Eugene Lee Yang, Ned Fulmer, Keith Habersberger and Zach Kornfeld.
“We think that the four of us combined equal one really, really good host,” Kornfeld told The Hollywood Reporter.
“It’s gonna be a musical-comedy spectacular,” teased Fulmer about the show. “We have a couple different bits and so we want each one to represent a different facet of things we like to do,” added Kornfeld.
Vlogger David Dobrik leads the nominations with six, including creator of the year. Casey Neistat, Emma Chamberlain, Shane Dawson and Ninja also received multiple noms. Comedian Kevin Hart, basketball player Kevin Durant and actress Shay Mitchell also earned mentions.
Winners of the awards will be decided by the Streamys Blue Ribbon Panel, which consist of a mixture of creatives, executives and experts in the online content industry. Fans will determine the winners for the creator of the year and show of the year categories.
The Streamy Awards stream live on YouTube beginning at 6 p.m. PT/ 9 p.m. ET. THR will be live-updating the list of winners throughout the evening. Watch the live stream, below.
