Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas has added fragrance-spokesperson to his resume.
The singer, is staring in a new ad campaign for Decibel: The Essence of Rock, French perfume company Azzaro’s latest scent.
In a not-so-subtle twist, the bottle is shaped like a microphone, with its description proclaiming “The bottle becomes an object, the microphone becomes a bottle.”
Azzaro describes the perfume’s scent as being multi-faceted, with the strongest notes smelling of Aldehydes and Green Italian Tangerine. According to the website, there are also hints of licorice, violet, Haitian Vetiver, Tonka Bean and Vanilla
In the fragrance’s ad, currently airing on French television, Casablancas sings on stage in front of a crowd of fans before doing a backwards free fall into the pulsing masses.
