The ads, shot at The Standard Hotel in New York, are accompanied by a short film that Maxwell called a love letter to his family. The decision to invest in promotional material just one year after launching his brand is a bold one, considering most designers wait a few years before creating campaigns.

Hermes has acquired a minority stake in footwear and accessories brand Pierre Hardy. Business of Fashion reports that the move is a strategic one intended to strengthen Hermes’ relationship with Pierre Hardy himself, who also designs footwear and accessories for the fashion house. Hermes has a history of supporting its designers; in 2003, the company invested in the private label of Jean Paul Gaultier, who was its womenswear designer at the time.
Justin Bieber Partners With Barneys for Tour Merch Collaboration [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
A 31-piece capsule collection of Justin Bieber’s ‘Purpose’ Tour merchandise will now be available at Barneys New York. Called Purpose Tour XO Barneys New York, the collab isn’t made up of your average concert tees and caps. Instead, the unisex collection, which ranges from $95 to $1,675, also includes denim, jerseys and a leather biker jacket. The collection is available at the store’s New York City, Beverly Hills and San Francisco locations, as well as online.
