Fashion’s September issues have been hitting newsstands in waves over the past few weeks, and avid fashion fans may have noticed that Harper’s Bazaar U.K. and Vogue Japan have more in common than just hundreds of ad pages. Cover stars Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Katy Perry are both wearing the same Prada dress on the respective glossies, and rumor has it that Gigi Hadid also the dress for W magazine before editors got wind of the situation and pulled the photo last minute. Former American Apparel employees who were terminated in recent months thanks to downsizing and other cost-cutting measures put in place by CEO Paula Schneider are protesting in Los Angeles, claiming unlawful firing. Many carried signs and wore shirts asking to “Bring Back Dov [Charney],” the founder who was fired at the end of 2014 for alleged employee harassment.
