The lucrative world of celebrity stylists is about to realign.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the A-list styling team of Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson, who have worked for years under the aegis of Rachel Zoe Studio, are departing Zoe’s umbrella to go out on their own. The trio have collectively worked with some of the most prominent and stylish actresses in Hollywood, including Jennifer Lawrence, Sofia Vergara, Kiernan Shipka, Jennifer Garner, Gabrielle Union, Lucy Hale and Megan Fox.

Lincoln and Jordan started their styling careers as assistants to Zoe (Jordan made several appearances as an intern on Zoe’s Bravo show The Rachel Zoe Project). Both stayed on as associate stylists for Zoe at Rachel Zoe Studio, which launched in 2010. They ran the styling offices in New York and Los Angeles and oversaw full-time and freelance assistant stylists.
In a statement to THR, Zoe says: “We are sad to announce that Jordan Johnson and Jill Lincoln will be moving on from Rachel Zoe Studio. The growth of the company has created a lot of opportunity for our stylists and I wish them the very best in this next phase in their career. I am first and foremost a stylist and that will always be the foundation of our brand.”

Lincoln and Johnson, whose new business will be based in Los Angeles, issued the following statement: “We have had many wonderful years with Rachel and have nothing but gratitude for her and the experience. The time has come to pursue the next chapter in our careers.”
