Sundance London, the offshoot of the Sundance Film Festival that has taken place at the U.K. capital’s 02 Arena for the past three years, has been canceled for 2015, organizers confirmed on Friday.

“We loved connecting with the vibrant community of filmmakers and audiences in the U.K., and following a successful three years with The O2, we continue to explore our options for Sundance London,” a spokesperson said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
The statement added that while the future of the event — which was first announced by Sundance founder Robert Redford in 2011 — was under review, organizers hoped to return “very soon.” It wasn’t immediately clear if financial or other factors led to the cancelation for this year.

Last year, the four-day festival screened 21 features taken from the 2014 U.S. Sundance festival, including Fruitvale Station, Frank, The Voices and documentary The Case Against 8. The London event also always featured music events.
Sundance London was well attended, although the venue, which also attracts many concerts, was seen as quite far from central London.
Key members of the Sundance festival team in Utah also led the charge on Sundance London, including festival director John Cooper and Trevor Groth, director of programming.
