Idina Menzel helped get the ball rolling at Sunday’s Super Bowl, performing the national anthem in a sleek black jumpsuit.
For her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” Menzel wore an outfit by Angel Sanchez. The designer posted on Instagram, writing, “Stunning @idinamenzel in #angelsanchez at the #superbowlXLIX #NFL #idinamenzel.”
Her stylist, Kemal Harris, said of the look, “The Angel Sanchez jumpsuit was a great combo of sporty and chic. I loved the ruffle detail on top. My favorite was the laser-cut leather floral details that embellish the entire back of it.” Harris completed Menzel’s ensemble with Jacob & Co jewels and Jimmy Choo heels.
Before Sunday’s performance, the Frozen star was hard at work, practicing in a trailer closet before rehearsals (“Best acoustics I could find!,” she said on Instagram.)
