Idina Menzel will sing the national anthem at this year’s Super Bowl, it was announced Friday.

The Broadway star will make her Super Bowl debut when she belts out “The Star-Spangled Banner” from University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 1. She’s the latest in a list of high-profile national anthem performers that includes Alicia Keys, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Whitney Houston, Harry Connick Jr., Garth Brooks, Natalie Cole, Vanessa Williams, Luther Vandross, Cher, Faith Hill, Mariah Carey, The Dixie Chicks, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and last year’s performer, Renee Fleming.
In addition, the pregame festivities, which will be broadcast on NBC along with the big game, will also include John Legend singing “America the Beautiful.” Actress Treshelle Edmond will perform American sign language renditions of both songs.

Katy Perry was previously announced as the half-time performer. Last year’s Super Bowl was watched by more than 112.2 million viewers in the U.S., making it the most watched television program in history.
The teams set to face off in this year’s big game will be determined at the conference championship games this weekend.
