The Seattle Seahawks were inches from clinching the Super Bowl after wide receiver Jermaine Kearse made the most unlikely bobbling catch of the season. But two plays later, Russell Wilson gave it all away, throwing an interception that ultimately cost the championship.
Kearse’s improbable catch set the Seahawks up at the 5 yard line, but New England Patriots defensive back Malcolm Butler picked off Wilson’s second-down pass soon after, paving the way for the Patriots to topple the Seahawks 28-24.
Both videos are crazy, but Kearse’s catch still takes the cake.
